Make A Difference

New Waves UCC is committed to giving back to the Traverse City area by using our gifts to serve those who are vulnerable, and by partnering with organizations to advocate for justice on a diverse range of social issues.

Ways To Get Involved 

Up North Pride

We support Pride as volunteers, by marching in the parade (the largest in Michigan), with our presence at the Pride Picnic, etc.
Our founding pastor blessed the marchers of the Parades in 2016 and 2017.

The SALT Coalition
Spiritual Activists Leading Together

“We are spiritual organizers in the Grand Traverse region dismantling oppressive structures and building communities rooted in justice. We follow the leadership of those most impacted, organize collective power for the common good, and build relationships, educate, pray, and act.”

New Waves Housing Development

New Waves partnered with Habitat for Humanity to develop 13 new homes for their housing program, all of which will be completed by 2026. Please support our partners through donations and volunteering.
