New Waves UCC is committed to giving back to the Traverse City area by using our gifts to serve those who are vulnerable, and by partnering with organizations to advocate for justice on a diverse range of social issues.

Ways To Get Involved

Up North Pride

We support Pride as volunteers, by marching in the parade (the largest in Michigan), with our presence at the Pride Picnic, etc. Our founding pastor blessed the marchers of the Parades in 2016 and 2017.

Polestar

LGBT Resource Center

We support Polestar as volunteers, by advertising in their directory, and we co-sponsored the Pulse Memorial Service June, 2017 with Polestar and Up North Pride.

New Waves Housing Development

New Waves partnered with Habitat for Humanity to develop 13 new homes for their housing program. Please support our partners through donations and volunteering.
