“Democracy Awakening: Notes on the State of America"

The political atmosphere in the US is a source of stress for most everyone, and is interfering with our connections to those around us. Going into this book, we will reflect on the following questions:
1. How does democracy fit into our spiritual lives/identities?
2. How do our spiritual values impact our roles and responsibilities regarding how we are governed?
3. In what ways can we contribute and make a difference (without becoming overwhelmed and burned out)?
Together we will discuss these questions and more as we read through the book, section by section.
